Steve Baloff — Partner, ATV

Steve joined ATV in 1996 and focuses on investments in the software and IT infrastructure markets. He currently serves on the boards of Compassoft, Liquid Engines, Tripwire, and WildTangent. Steves previous investments while at ATV include UpShot (acquired by Siebel Systems-SEBL), Striva (acquired by Informatica-INFA), ViryaNet (VRYA), Velogic (acquired by Keynote-KEYN), and Seeker Software (acquired by Concur-CNQR).

Prior to joining ATV, Steve spent over 10 years in two venture-backed start-ups, where he held executive positions in general management, sales and marketing. Steve founded and was the CEO of Worldview Systems, where Travelocity was created and launched. Previously, he was with Covalent Systems, a computer systems vendor focused on the graphic arts industry. Steve started his career with the management consulting firm of Booz, Allen & Hamilton where he focused on strategy engagements for a variety of technology companies in the U.S. and Europe.

Steve holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Harvard College.

Mark Gorenberg — Partner, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners

Mark Gorenberg is a partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. Mark has spent over 20 years in software development and has been a software manager in both large corporations and entrepreneurial environments. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Mark was a Senior Software Manager in advanced product development at Sun Microsystems. Mark's positions have included direct experience in a number of software technologies. Mark received a BSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MSEE from the University of Minnesota, and an MS in engineering management from Stanford University.

Mark has served as a director of start-up and public software companies, including AdForce, NetDynamics and Scopus Technologies. He currently serves as a director of Cenzic, Excelergy, Lathian Systems, Omniture and ontheFRONTIER. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corporation (Board of Trustees).

Thomas Neustaetter — Partner, JK&B Capital

Mr. Neustaetter has over 20 years of experience as an investor and investment banker, including more than 15 years of venture capital and private equity investment experience. Prior to joining JK&B, Mr. Neustaetter was a Partner of The Chatterjee Group, an affiliate of Soros Fund Management, where he focused on venture capital investments in the telecommunications and software industries. Prior to The Chatterjee Group, Mr. Neustaetter was the President and founder of Bancroft Capital, a general consulting firm.

Before founding Bancroft, Mr. Neustaetter was with Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan) for eight years where he founded Chemical Venture Partners-Northeast and was Head of Middle Market Investment Banking. In addition, Mr. Neustaetter served as Chief Financial Officer of First Reserve Corporation, an energy investment fund, for five years and was a Senior Tax Accountant at Price Waterhouse for three years.

Mr. Neustaetter earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy with great distinction (Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Information Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mr. Neustaetter is on the Board of Directors of Selectica (NASDAQ:STLC), Instantis, XOSoft, Cambia Security, Intacct Corporation, FaceTime Communications, Cenzic, and ColdSpark and participates with the Board of Directors of E2open

Erik Straser — Partner, Mohr, Davidow Ventures

Erik Straser invests in energy, materials and software companies. He joined MDV in 1998 and serves on the boards of several portfolio companies including Cenzic, DETERMINE Software and Movaris.

Erik worked at Interval Research Corp., a technology incubator funded by Paul Allen, and at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a technical staff member. Prior to MDV, Erik consulted to several seed and early stage venture capital firms. Erik earned both doctoral and master's degrees from the Stanford University School of Engineering. At Stanford, he led an interdisciplinary project between the electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering departments to develop a revolutionary monitoring system for critical facilities. Erik holds a U.S. patent from his research work. From 1996 to 1998, he served as president of the Business Association of Stanford Engineering Students (BASES), Stanford's largest student group focused on entrepreneurship and technology management. Erik also earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
